Woke up late for english today because my alarm was set to PM instead of AM. I got there on time… just in my pjs. All we did was some research for our papers in the library then we got to leave early, so in the grand scheme of things, the extra sleep was nice.
Today I have work, Math, and Choir. This Saturday the choir has a concert with Messiah’s choir and another choir from around here. It starts at 8am and goes to 3pm. All the choirs watch each other rehearse then perform.
Next weekend I think I am going to Carrie’s house for the weekend and we’re gonna go into Baltimore.
That’s about all that’s happening. That and this huge english paper. And me getting mad because my GPA will probably be lower than last semesters.

Freakin’ Alarms
47 days
Back at school. I’m at work right now. There is exactly 47 days until I leave for the summer.
I don’t have anything too too exciting going on. Just trying to get back into the swing of hw and practicing and exercising… maybe sleeping too.
I have a huge paper for english I need to work more on. I need to finish scholarship stuff. I have a recital on the 21st of April. I am trying to get some of my paintings into an exhibit at Church of the Savior this weekend maybe. The choir has a million concerts coming up.
Nothing is going on really besides just busy typical schoolwork stuff.
Back to reality…Kinda
Alex went back to New Hampshire yesterday morning and now it’s back to classes, nap, dinner, practice, hw-repeat. I haven’t been sleeping well, but luckily I hadn’t had too much work to do besides reading until I got my assignment for English this morning. We are to write a 16 page research paper having something to do with food consumption and processing. We have to spend 2-4 hours in the library doing research and go see the people in the writing center and get a signature saying we’ve been there. I HAVE NO TIME TO DO THAT! I have to stay on top of practicing because I need to keep getting better in Piano, Voice, and Bassoon. I can’t skip meals and I can’t ignore my other classes (especially the music ones).
I’m not sure how I’m going to pull this off. Tomorrow I don’t get out of class until 5 (usually it’s 4) and I’m going to eat dinner then go to the library with my friend Justin. Hopefully I’ll get what I need done, but that means I wont have time to practice or do other hw until late. Another all nighter… awesome.
I’m so tired and annoyed and exhausted. It’s not all because I stayed up late this weekend but also because I HAVE A FREAKIN’ CRAZY MAJOR. Whatever. I guess I’ll get to finally breath and sleep in about 3 years… maybe.
On that note, my voice teacher (and vocal diction teacher) is having a lot of trouble because her sister is extremely sick and probably going to die. Everyone is stressed in the music dept. and I just need a vacation. I don’t think a long weekend is going to fix this one, but only 2 months left right?
Then I am just working a bunch and taking 2 classes online…
It never ends!
Photobooth Phun
Wednesday night we all had some fun with photobooth with Alex.
The pictures are so funny. It’s been great having Alex here because I practice AND I get to practice teaching him. Since he’s a musician and all, but he doesn’t know Too much theory, I’ve been teaching him that and a little of how to sing more efficiently haha. Then I do hw and he plays guitar and Tommy plays his djembe and Jess plays guitar and we sing together. It’s so much fun.
And Alex got accepted to Queens!!!
Anyways.
That is about all thats going on. I got a 37/32 on a MUS250 test… not sure how. :p And a B+ on my BIB midterm!
SURPRISE!!!
Yesterday I was so tired. I had been up reading and studying the night before and then just couldn’t fall asleep. I had been looking forward to an hours nap after choir at 4. When I got back to the room Jessica asked me to go with her to TOmmy’s when visitation started so we could look at her D.R. pictures. I really just wanted to sleep, but I could see how much it meant to her.
We walked over to Tommy’s room and I walked in to Hodge making some sly comment so I started calling Hodge rude. As I rounded the corner Alex was sitting on Tommy’s couch. It took a second or two to register and I guess I looked scared. Haha.
So that was my surprise! Alex came down to visit me (also Tommy) and hes staying for about 5 days.
Tommy and Alex had so much fun with this surprise and they have already had a bunch of fun playing music together and getting to know each other. All in all this should be a good week/weekend. I don’t have too much work and the work that I do have I will make sure to get done.
YAY
I’m sure there will be crazy pictures up soon on Facebook or something.
In the airport
I am currently in the Manchester airport waiting to get on a plane to take me back to Philly. I’m kind of indifferent about going back. I’m not incredibly sad about leaving because I’ll be back in less than 2 weeks and I’m not incredibly excited to go back. I miss my friends, but not the work. School is just constant stress about the next exam or paper and when am I going to have time to practice, read, study and hopefully sleep.
It will all be over in a few months though and I’ll be just doing 2 classes over the summer while sitting at the beach, working, and hanging out with friends and family.
This was a fun break. I got to spend a lot of time with Alex and his family and he got to come over some. I got to see the boys (minus Ben). I didnt get to spend as much time as I would like with them but thats ok. I didnt really get much time with Chels or Kent either, but I’ll see them soon enough in May.
Johnny and I recorded a new song while I was home. It’s ok.

Not very good yet, but Johnny wants Gallazzelli to play in the Kingswood Battle of the Bands “Kingswoodstock”. I’m not sure how I feel about it. I wouldnt mind doing it, but we definetly need to practice more before I’ll feel comfortable. I know we wont win, we arent that good, but it will be fun to perform together. If anything Johnny and Alex’s band The Elevator District will win. They are really good.

Nat Geo
Sunday night I went over to Johnny’s to hang out with him and Steve. They were playing country licks on the guitar most of the night. Then they made me play some 007 shooting video game that I was terrible at. After Steve left Johnny and I were swing dancing and I taught him how to lindy hop! He actually picked it up quickly!
Yesterday Alex was going to take me sledding at the nick but it was raining so we ended up staying inside and watching National Geographic (Nat Geo) all day. It was fun. I’m kind of jealous because I don’t think I get that channel… hang on I’ll look now. Ok yes we do. I’m excited. Anyways. Alex came over for dinner and then we played with the wii for awhile. I beat him in bowling and golf. He got me in baseball and boxing… and tennis. But I have a way better serve in tennis. In baseball he got 3 home runs in a row!
TOday I have to go get a cavity filled :’(
Then get my hair cut.
Thats about it. Tomorrow is Alex’s birthday.
Home!
I got home at about 1am yesterday. Woke up at 9 to snow and then drove in the snow at 11 to go see Alex. We helped move some baskets to Brewster for a teacher appreciation banquet and then we grabbed some lunch at Huck’s. After that we went back to his house with his brother and his friends and watched American Gangster… well we tried to watch it. But ended up stopping it early because it’s 3 hours long and I needed to get home!
Anyways. Today mom and dad and I went to Jake’s for lunch and the three of us are about to take a nap. Later I am hopfully going to Johnny’s to see all the guys
It’s so good to be home.
