Sorry I can’t post a lot. I’m so busy this semester. Things are going ok. Stressed. My car is acting up which is so annoying and I havent started observations for EDU 200 because the principal at the school I’m signed up for hasnt called me back yet.

My voice lesson today went really really well. She was extremely impressed. Sight singing and STV didn’t go as well, but whatever. I don;t really have enough time to practice for the 3 hours a day I’m supposed to, but I’m trying. I can’t wait to go home in a few weeks. It will be great to be away from EU even if for a little bit.

I need to go study Spanish and shower, but I’ll try to write more often.

I’m in the computer lab waiting for my EDU200 course to start. Today was already long and stressful and it’s only halfway over. My Spanish class is a lot of work and I dont even know if I am really required to take it. Education majors are not anymore as of this year, but my advisor has not yet told me that I can drop the class. I e-mailed him today so hopefully I will be able to finish this semester and instead of taking another Spanish course next semseter, I will be able to take Statistics or something else so I wont have to take it over the summer. I havent been sleeping very well because of all the reading and papers I’ve had already and today I just cant seem to wake up. It’s like 95 degrees outside and I’ve been freezing all day. Josh and Jess think it’s because I’m anemic and I haven’t been taking the pills the doctor gave me and I havent been getting enough sleep. (Oh, and Dr. Price wants to have breakfast tomorrow at 7:30am! To introduce me to the only other Berkshire Scholarship kid who is a freshman). No sleep tonight either.

Besides all of the work and stress everything is great. I enjoy all of my classes even if they have tons of work. And tonight is the first night of swing and we are pretty sure we will have a huge turn out. I’m hoping to get a lot of sleep this weekend and get ahead on some reading. I’m sure I’ll get back into the swing of things soon (both metaphorical and literal):) Its just been a harder adjustment this year with the annoyance of possibly taking a class that I don’t need and essencially wasting my precious Music Ed. Major Time.

Johnny and I have been talking about getting together some weekend coming up to practice and do a open mic night at a cafe near his school so hopefully that will work out and relieve some stress!

Hello!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few months. Summer was crazy with 2 jobs and summer classes and hanging out with friends etc. I am back at school and already busy.

Spanish, Musicianship, Brass, Question of Origin, EDU200, EDU207, Choir, Voice… the list goes on and on.

Not too much exciting has gone on. I had my first official Swing council meeting last night as Secretary and realized how much responsibility it is, but I love it so it doesn’t seem so bad. Tomorrow night is the first night of swing and Im so excited. I’m trying to get all my work done tonight so I’m completely free. Faryl is having his 2nd annaversary dance at Sunnybrook the 20th and that will be a ton of fun. Live band and everything!

Jess, Tommy, Josh and I have been hanging out as much as we can but also trying to spend time with a few other friends. Hopefully I’ll get back into the full swing of things soon so I have more time to post and relax. Work will start soon at the church and possibly at the Athletics Department.

Well. I’ll try to post more later if I get the time. And I promise to try to keep this whole thing updated better
